Why not copy the Lastname,Firstname style tag to a new tag of your own
choosing that SqueezeCenter will just ignore and then delete
ARTISTSORT.
You could always do the reverse to effectively rename it back if you
ever needed it.

I keep finding problems with the CPU being pegged at 100% on internet
radio either when starting FAAD/FLAC or when synchronizing, so I've
gone back to 7.5.2.
Haven't had to revert to an older version from a 'stable' release
before.

The plug-ins I was running were all Logitech ones.
I think the truth is 7.5.3 is actually the problem, not the plugins.
For instance we've already established definitively that the FAAD AAC
conversion executable shipped with 7.5.3 causes a processor race.

I've never looked into Airport but if they make an Airport-enabled iPod
dock then that could be a great solution for when guests turn up with

delineators based on the directory structure. I'd guess that with

I've got a SB3 which has a failed VFD display, and I can't get a new one
without waiting for Noritake to do another production run especially,
and to charge more for a one-off piece than the SB3 is worth!
Does anybody have a dead SB3/Classic that still has the display intact

I saw in another thread here (the EDO one maybe?) that there is a driver
available for the HiFace 1 on Linux now and somebody compiled it for the
Touch.
If that's the case then this could possibly work on the Off-Ramp and
other interfaces/DACs using that chipset. That would be good news.

Use Debian then. I've updated mine regularly over the last 5 years and

bleeding-edge distros than Debian but their security patches are up to
