Slacker is US and Canada only, so most likely they're in the US. If not,
that might explain why it's not working.
I'm in the US and have had no problems. I've listened for a couple
hours straight to several stations, over the past few days.

CAT3 is only certified up to 10Mbps I believe, so if you can, you
might want to force the connection to 10Mbps/Full Duplex... but there
should be no issue with using CAT3 cabling instead of CAT5.

It's entirely possible that it's not a Flash stream, but they're just
using Adobe Flash to hide the true streaming protocol/format. What's
the site, and maybe someone with the right tools can discover the true
stream format/URL?

to convert the Windows path to the correct Linux path?
From a Mac to a (Linux-based) NAS it's much easier to make happen...
through the use of directories and symbolic links, you can end up
creating the same path on both your Mac and your NAS.

Squeezeboxes = two different devices unless they're
synchronized. So you can't play two different Slacker stations on two
different Squeezeboxes using the same Slacker account.

This is more likely a limitation of the TuneIn service being used to
stream most terrestrial radio stations, rather than a limitation that
Logitech is imposing.
Have you tried adding the Shoutcast app and seeing if that also returns
