I just installed the Pandora Mobile client 1.0.25 on my ATT Smartphone
and it works well. The Thumbs-up and Thumbs-down functionality along
with your personalized stations are there. I'd only recommended this
client to folks with 3G phone and with unlimited data plans. You can

sadly gsplayer does't support password protected URLs in any
form...been waiting a few years for them to add that but it hasnt
happened.
in my experience if you want to use gsplayer to stream from
squeezecenter, you must turn off password protection.

The last time I heard about a Windows Mobile port of Squeezeplay was in
the thread below. At the time, the SD folks did not have plans to do so,
but were open to volunteers.

address bar of the browser. If you do that the browser will try to
download the stream as an .mp3 file.

x50v and am seriously considering switching to the HTC TouchHD when it
gets more widely available. I would pay for an app that ran on Windows
Mobile for PDA and smartphones that would give sqeezebox functionality.

Hey, thanks for all the great info. I downloaded GSPlayer and connected
straight into SlimServer no problem. Managing SlimServer through the
browser and it seems to work just fine.
Only problem I'm having is that I can't get GSPlayer to work if I have
my SlimServer password protected. If I
I got remote streaming working but not with slimserver. Instead I
downloaded ORB, its free too. and on my PDA I type in
http://mycast.orb.com and I can use my gpra connection from anywhere to
stream directly to my phone from my home PC.

Streaming outside of my home network via the net is not something i
have done. You might have more luck on the Conduits forum or
TVersity's. Let us know how you get on.

I went on the conduits forum and search in entirety but nothing relevant
to remote streaming. Im sure it must be possible as my broadband on the
phone is very fast.

excellent! I got it working now,seems I had forgotton t download the udp
plugin for pocket player.
Now, I have it working on my own network using the wifi feature of my
phone...the songs stream to my cario 2 phone very well. but can u

I went down this road last year. Trying to do it with Slimserver is a
pain but there is a much better way and it gives you full control over
whats being streamed...
Install an UPNP server on you PC, i recommend www.tversity.com and it
