If your Lyngdorf amp is one with "Chromecast built-in", you might give the LMS Chromecast plugin a try. From what I've read, it can support up to 24/192. Can't guarantee gapless or ReplayGain support with these plugins, though, so you'll have to test that. Honestly, the best player for LMS is

Don’t think the homeplugs are an issue. The wired connection is solely for being able to calbrate and operate the amp from my Ipad. Music playback is wireless. Anyway, I switched off the UPNP plugin in LMS and reverted to playback via Airplay - and everything works as it used to - single touch
