station transmitting Phone outside the American Phone sub-band and listening
up into the American sub-band ? This could happen in Regions where the
sub-bands are different.

I went to a small US post office late in this Feb. and cashed in over 80 old
IRCs for .80 cent US stamps. there was a lot of consultation and book
reading before the transaction, but they did it. My thought is to get rid
of old ones asap.

LIstening to all ham bands from HS, one can hear almost more illegal and
quasi-legal transmissions than ham signals. Except for contest days, the
average is fewer ham signals.
