after extracting 8.01 and start of dx4win.exe the error 0xc0150002
is announced, DX4WIN works not.
Using XP Windows.
Previous 7.07 works fine.
Any help?

I exported my ver data and imported it into ver 8 to verify the data
converts properly.
Issues...
I had a few rejects where the mode was MFSK... should probably convert
to MFSK16.
I had over 100 cryptic errors {Satel Mode=X}... These were not satellite
QSOs and were various modes and bands.
I can't find the E-mail thread, so I'll broadcast to the reflector.
Report windows (those generated from the Reports menu) still use *
meaning Checked. However, if an award counter has never been
worked, the box will now be completely blank - that little dot is
gone.

I downloaded and installed DX4W801 and encountered an error message upon
launching the program:
The application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0150002). Click OK to

A few hours ago I could connect to the DX4WIN.COM home page, but could not
connect to the Secure Order Form page. That is fixed and the Secure Order
Form is working properly.

Frequency sounds like language (region) specific issue, or left-over
from a previous import. DX4WIN expects the frequency in KHz and you
have it specified in MHz.
As documented in the help file and in my upgrade notes, Name and QTH
are converted when they are in the format:

Open a command prompt (Start|All Programs|Accessories|Command Prompt)
and navigate (cd) to the directory where the program is installed:
C:\DX4W801 or wherever you put it.

I too am excited that Paul finally implemented a start date for DXCC CW. I
also have QSOs dating back to 1967. I have been comparing the Summary
totals and the Listing totals for CW between ver 8.0 and 7.07. I personally
like the way that Paul has implemented the DXCC Listing for CW.

the key to the correct directory and it shows that it is there. When
