Interesting Dave. I tested using a COM port and the first two letters

Hi Oms,
I tried to test this, but I realized that I have a WinKey interface,
and it doesn't have the problem. I do not have COM or LPT ports on my
ham computer.
Can someone else who is using a COM or LPT port interface for the CW
keyer please test this?

Hi John,
It's in the Help file, search for Frequency in the index.
Or just try QSO -> Multiple QSO Operations and you'll find it.

Maybe I've missed it, but is there a procedure in Version 8.01 to move
frequency information for the "Notes for this QSO" field to the new "Freq"
field? Or are folks just exporting to an ASCII file, editing, and re-importing?

Besides assigning a shortcut key to show-up the Bandmap, perhaps ALT-B,
I'd suggest an extra checkbox with the option: "always on top" which
should avoid the bandmap being hidden by other windows. By the way the
ALT-B should hide the bandmap too.
