Fred,
I would create a group within your log for you new QTH. Just go to Filter,
Selection and create a new Group Filter. That way you can see all the
contacts with a given call that you made prior to AZ as well as from your
new QTH. This is especially handy if you keep the Same Call and Lo
I am getting ready to order a Steppir yagi but want to make sure I order the

Jim,
Just for the record, I uninstalled the lpt driver as you suggested. I then
reinstalled it under 8.04. However, it prompted me to install the driver in
the dx4w803\lptdriver folder -- which would have put it right back in the
folder that I had just uninstalled. So I merely typed in a new
version 8.02.
Thanks,

John,
I normally wait a while to upgrade, but took the plunge with ver 8.02. I
really like it. Fixed a number of small issues from the past, adds new
features like better integration with Lotw, band map, etc. I think most of
the bugs from version 8.01 are fixed with version 8.02.

Any help would be appreciate. Thanks.

Tony,
DX4WIN always opens on whatever band and mode my K3 is set on when the
software loads. Actually it opens to the last contact and then I just hit

Thor,
Mine works okay in version 8.02. I just imported my SAC log into DX4WIN

Oms,
I tested using both typed and pre-set CW messages. Works fine with both.
But again, I am using LPT1 as the port.

Jim,
I tested sending CW from the keyboard with no problem. I simply use DX4WIN
as the device type and LPT1 as the port. Works great in both versions 7.07
and 8.01. The first two letters are not being joined. Using Windows XP.

Has this issue been fixed by Paul? Lotw uploaded QSOs should not be showing

Dave,
I agree with your comments on the M issue.
This is a show stopper in my opinion. I do not see how I can manage sending

makes no sense. M should only appear when an actual QSL has been printed

Randy,
I too am excited that Paul finally implemented a start date for DXCC CW. I
also have QSOs dating back to 1967. I have been comparing the Summary
totals and the Listing totals for CW between ver 8.0 and 7.07. I personally
like the way that Paul has implemented the DXCC Listing for CW.
I have a new K3 and it works perfectly with DX4WIN. I have baud rate set at
4800 and poll rate at 1000 ms. I have Elecraft K3 X4 selected as radio
type.

Ken,
I do not understand your concern. If the QSOs actually took place, then you
have every right to upload them to Lotw as part of your log. They will only
be confirmed if the other station likewise uploads a matching QSO to Lotw.
The fact that the same QSO may have been confirmed by eQSL by
Just click F9 once or twice and that will clear the QSO entry window. Then
you can click once on a DX Spot and it will display the data in the QSO
