No. Do not change any installed RFC's. As the note explains, it's quite possible to break the connections inside the inductor by bending the leads too tightly at right angles to the main body, especially on the smaller sub-miniature units. One wants to be careful about bending the leads on the in

Bernie, In the past, I have complained about 'weak' audio on my K2 SN 00020, but I have since modified T7 to the newer turns ratio of 20:7, and I no longer complain - yes, there is not as much raw audio power as found in some other transceivers, but the K2 will 'blow your ears off' if the gain is

I did some more audio testing today, and find that setting AF gain between 12 & 1 o'clk, all is well. For testing, I listened to WWV on 10MHz, USB, RF gain at max, pre-amp off.
