was checking to see which serial port was connected to the computer, the K3
Utility blew up and in spite of my best efforts to uninstall and reinstall,

Running the utility trying to access an invalid port should not cause any
problems at all, except that you won't be able to communicate with the K3.

I have built the front panel unit and filter board for the K1. And have gotten
to this point on the RF board. Should I have front panel board attached to Rf
board when I power it up for tests or JUST the RF board?? Bill W9bok

Allen, I know nothing about the K2 or the KAT-100, but I have experience with
the folks at Aptos. They don't bite, don't even growl! They know their stuff!
