Sorry, but this is not correct - Omnirig is a rig-control program that
VE3NEA uses in all situations where it is his software needs to be able
to control a transceiver's frequency. You need other hardware or
software (such as LP-Bridge) to enable more than one program to talk to
your radio's

Hello K3 users,
I've been fortunate to have a friend loan me his K3/100 for an evaluation
to help me decide whether I want to order one. I've been following the
Elecraft forum discussion regarding external auto tuner interfacing with the
K3.
I have my Ameritron AL-811 (600 watts) amp
We've already fixed the hang problem in the next P3 firmware release,
and we're well underway with reduced latency when running HRD, etc.
I'm guessing we'll have a new beta release later this week.

I've adjusted the TX equalizer to make it sound almost like the Heil Goldline
and set another TX equalizer setting to make it sound like an HC5. The Pro

From Heil advertising, the HC-6 is a Dynamic Element, not an electret type
like the IC units they make for ICOM and others including Elecraft.
Therefore it does not require BIAS and would use the regular Kenwood adapter
for front panel connections.
