Good morning
Recently I installed Radiowarz's new G5RV MAX with its two 102' legs.
From anyone who has both a KAT500 and the G5RV Max I would greatly appreciate
learning both your experience and results of tuning on 160m.

As a new K3 owner, I am getting the Elecraft bug. I am thinking of ordering
the KAT500 and KPA500 amp and tuner kits. I wonder if schematics are

Hi.
OK, KX3 kit has arrived, courtesy of a collegue who traveled to Dayton.

Price = $5000 or less
Basically, an FT-5000 and TS990s killer.
I guess it would be my K-Line in a single box.
I know for a fact that I wouldn't buy one and price has nothing to do with
it. A 400w transceiver is worthless IMHO and any built-in Panadapter is just
like the rest. The KPA500/KAT500 is a better choice and if they problems you
pull it out for repair and still able to use radio same for P3/SVGA.

Chris,
I use both FLDIGI and Digipan with my K3 without issues, along with a
Signalink USB soundcard,Fldigi mostly when I'm contesting with N1MM
Logger and Digipan otherwise.
I'm using HRD 5.24 for logging now but don't use DM780.
