Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone has measured or experienced distortion on a KPA-1500 when
operated at low power, such as: 200, 400 or 800 watts? I ask because sometimes
I need more than 100 watts to make a Qso but sometimes it's fun to run the

Does anyone know at what Serial Number Elecraft upgraded the KX3 RF board to one with
greater frequency stability? I am interested in finding one that is stable enough to
use on 6m EME with Q65-60A mode. Thanks for any information!

I have the Zoom Q2n video camera. I use it as a studio quality
microphone as well as a web cam and a stand alone video recording
device. I have only used a few of its capabilities too. If you need
stereo sound capability this tool works well.

Good Evening,
Weather has returned to normal: 40 degrees F, foggy with rain, and
humidity at or above 98%. Snow is in the forecast depending on
elevation and temperature. The forest has already been pruned, but I

I think the fan speed setting is *minimum* speed, not fixed speed. The amp
will always speed up the fan from the minimum setting if necessary for

I expect that ALC is being used for two different parts of the transmission

Audio ALC would reduce the dynamic range of the audio. That automatically
reduces the microphone gain to maintain a consistent level of modulation. That
would be inside the audio part of transmitter, before the

Folks,
Using the KPA1500 remote program. There is a slider control for the fan
just below the temp bargraph. I can manually adjust the slider to give me
different fan speeds, so the control is communication with the KPA1500.

I have a working HP25 out in the garage/workshop. The battery pack expired long

I still have an HP15C on my desk that I picked up when I was working

the battery and LED module failed. The 15C is still ticking right

My first calculator was the HP-25C, then went to the HP-67 and several
others after that. My favorite is the HP-28S, which is
