Hello..
Hoping I'm not the only one who's ever encountered this.
I was installing 5.29 last nite...and then we had the power go off.
That computer was not on a UPS, so both computer and K3 took the hit.
K3 is now totally unresponsive and computer can no longer 'find' it.
Howdy..
After rushing to be there when Best Buy opened this am, I bought a new
serial to USB cable.
New cable worked fine, even tho an el cheapo by Elecraft standards. ($19.95

First of all, thanks to all for responding!
The good news, fwiw, is that I was able to toggle to the B configuration by

It switched to the new configuration and no more err.

Howdy.
After successfully upgrading my firmware on two previous occasions,
yesterday's efforts left me with a dead radio.
To make matters somewhat worse, I'd since changed computers so the backup
file was gone.
The upgrade would have been to 1.87 had it completed successfully.

Hello.
I may have missed explanations of this anomaly and its cure.
The issue is: the P3 follows the K3 everywhere but to 144.
On this band, the trace disappears; I think I can see it going up and off
the screen.
Can't figure this out and would appreciate help from those who may have
Hello
I've not found any hints in archives on this, so wondering if anyone here
has done this?
If so, cabling and any other handy hints would be appreciated.
I would much rather have the amp follow the radio thru commands and not via
RF sensing.
Thanks.

I'd like to join Alexandr and Bjorn in support of this feature.
This is one of the most useful features on the 897 and has proved to be

Invariably, you'll be on SSB running a pileup and someone will be calling
you on CW; it is SO handy to just hit the key and make

Another feature, not well known nor advertised, is that their (TE Systems)
amps have active bias.
This greatly improves their linearity and cuts down on local splatter.
Many of the existing solid state amps do not have any sort of stabilized
bias which is why so many of them on 6, 2 and 432 sound
Really glad to see this discussed here. Sherwood is usually pretty close to
