In the basic K2 you need the KIO2 to interface the K2 with the KAT100.
That interface is a part of KPA100 , so in your case I would build the
KPA100 first.
That will give you the opportunity to test all aspects of the KAT100.
You will be able to see how it switch between ho/lo power
.
And last , but not least..I found this to be very important is to adjust
the psk software to LOCK YOUR AUDIO TX FREQUENCY
and TRACK RX AUDIO FREQUENCY with the AFC option most of the PSK software
have.
So with this small hints your K2 is up in digimode in no time.
