Hi folks! This is a strange one for me. I just got KPA100 in my K2. I have worked nice DX after that and USB workes FB and I get very good audioreports. But on 30,40 and 80 LSB I put out 150-180 watts into dummyload when I whistle in the mic. I put out same power on settings 11-110 watts. PA

Hi all! I don't ask about this because I think KPA100 is a bad alternative , but rather the possibillity to use a small linear on both the K1 and K2. If anyone has tried this amps I would like to hear from you. Also do you trigg amp tx with PTT or RF-sniffing? How do they perform? I havent yet

Does it help to lower level of spot tone? I use spot often on my K2 3829 and no distortion heard , but I have never run it on high levels? I adjust level on spot so an incoming signal blanks it out when pitch is near optimal center. Tom LA1PHA How is your transmitted signal? Any stray from PS?
