I have been trying to hook my K2 to a microham microkeyer. I have the rx
audio working OK via J5 and also the cw, but cannot get the tx audio
(either afsk or wav files) to work, although the PTT works fine. The mic
is set up for Kenwood as microham recommend and works with a kenwood

I've never been able to figure out how to send or receive RTTY or PSK with
or without the MicroKeyer.
My normal contest mode is WriteLog talking to the K2 (or now the K3) through
the MicroKeyer with both a keyboard and paddle plugged into the MicroKeyer.

If you look in the box your cable came in you should find a female
stereo 1/8 plug and about 12 inches of black shielded audio cable. I
used a three pin Moldex style jack at J5 (same style as the frequency
counter but with three pins) and then used a matching plug on the
