That's what baffles me. The system appears to load the above driver,
but no audio gets through. Taking the device and plugging it into a
WinXP machine - audio gets through.

One thing to remember, is that unfortunately this option does NOT work if you are
using a footswitch (or a sequencer triggered by a footswitch). I still don't
understand why it can't be included in the firmware as an option even if you key the
TX with a footswitch, but that is the way it is.

Thanks to those who answered my post about using iMic on Win7. First let me
say I tried all the things suggested with no luck. I never found anything
muted or disabled.
At first, nothing, then I could play sounds, but no music. It seemed that it
began working after I used Quickmix to load
I use the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro with no problems with my K3. Mine does NOT
have the mic. When I bought it I didn't see the model with a mic.

I believe that the circuit breaker only protects the KPA3.
If you're running off battery, or other unprotected power-source, I
think you would really want an external fuse (as close to the power
source as possible, in case you get a short in the supply cable
somehow).
