Bill,
There is no provision for adjusting the LO frequency of the XV144
transverter - unless you have a recent one.
Yes, the XV50 and the XV432 do have provisions for adjusting the LO
frequency.
Newer XV144 transverters have had to change the LO crystal, and L19 was

David,
Some subscribe to the reflector in digest mode and will ask for a direct

I can't speak for Bill's request, just saying that is one possible reason.

Bob,
Did you QSY after tuning? If so that would explain what is happening -
you may have moved out of the band segment that you used for the TUNE.
See the lower half of page 9 in the KAT500 manual.
You may want to 'train' your KAT500 on all segments of the 6 meter band.
If you have done that
Bruce,
Given that information, you may have been able to correct it by altering
the port 'handshaking' settings in your computer.
But you have fixed it, so go with it.
I did not know that the handshaking loopback would cause a failure,
thanks for that information.

Also included is a custom tilt stand made from red oak. Photos available

I am the original owner and built the K1 very carefully.
Hi Tom,
I just read and like your review.
I don't know for sure, but my understanding is that the 4.2 kHz filter
actually corresponds to a conventional 8 KHz filter. My understanding is that
all signals between carrier frequency minus 4.2 kHz and carrier frequency
plus 4.2 kHz are

This one does involve radio, on a channel that can be received by
Elecraft equipment that has general-coverage
It will require quite a test using HRD, or something more demanding.
Let us know, or at least me.
