I´m currently using a pair of old TV-speakers and I´m still looking for good speakers.I´ve found the Dierking 40w speakers(http://www.eurofrequence.de/lautsprecher/)in the internet.Is anybody using them with the K3? Are they good? Is there a recommendation from Elecraft or any wise audiophile?

Good morning Chris - I do not have direct experience with the speakers mentioned in your post, but I use a pair of JBL Control 2 powered studio monitors. They are very accurate and, perhaps most importantly, do not seem to radiate detectable RF (or be susceptible to it).

Larry If you use ALC between your KPA500 and your transceiver, check to see if there is a permanent output from the KPA500. U8 on the KPA500 control board is a known issue where the wrong part was specified up to at least serial 573 (mine)... The fix is to obtain the correct part and replace it.

Hi Don, Just wanted to let you know that I fixed the problem. I re-soldered all the switching diodes and also found a very small piece of clipping sticking to the back side of the board. Don't know if it was the clipping or the re-soldering but working perfectly now. Thanks for all the help.
