[Elecraft] Elecraft CW Net Report

Good Evening,    The sun has come out.  That has been rare lately.  A few minutes earlier today followed by rain.  From the Bay Area to Idaho it's cool and misty.  Out on the Plains I got reports of 90 degrees.  Summer may be there but the dry season is not yet here.    Propagation was OK

Kevin; I’m curious, why do you wish to run N1MM Logger? It is a very good contest logger, but for general purpose logging there are better choices. As for running it under virtualization, I ran it using Virtual Box (on the Mac) until I had a really good reason to use VMware Fusion - that was

Ah, but Kevin, this topic is for Mac logging… I will agree that SkookumLogger is really good for contesting. I don’t think I would use it for general logging, though. I’ll ask my question of Kevin in his topic… ;-) 73, Jack, W6FB > On Jun 12, 2022, at 7:35 PM, kevin wrote: > > My two

Kevin, For option 3 you might take a look at the groups.io linuxhams. A quick search there unearthed xlog. Don’t know anything about it but the write up says general and contest logging. Dual booting the computer you want to use for contesting could be option 4.  73, Brian, K0DTJ > On Jun

Kevin, SkookumLogger is my #1 logger on a Mac. The source code is available - so you can add your own features (I added a Voice Player for example as my K3S does not have that hardware). RumLog is a good all-round logger also, easy to configure to work with WJJTX also for

Kevin, Windows VM on Virtual Box would be a slam dunk, but that does take up a lot of your computer’s resources. But, once it’s installed and windows is running, N1MM and most all other windows apps will run FB and not know the difference. If you are leaning toward a wine solution, you may

I run versions of Linux on five of my computers.  I would like to implement N1MM's logging software on one of them.  It appears I have three options: 1) Install N1MM directly and use wine to run it. 2) Install N1MM in a Windows 7 virtual machine under Virtual Box. 3) Use another logging

Hmmm ... I contest with an N3ZN single-lever on the right but ragchew with a Begali MagPro on the left, but not at the same time.  My Elmer, Art W6RMK, taught me to send right so I could write left in my log.  When logs no longer mattered to the FCC, I began to migrate casual Q's to the left.
