I just got done writing a comment to the above question, and am ashamed..
20 minutes after I basically said "All I have heard is "Crickets" I got a
phone call from Watsonville, CA. I was one of the early ones and shortly
after Thanksgiving there will be a special package delivered. They are
to 3.816 at 01:00 UTC on Sunday Night to allow more General Class operators
to join the fun,,
Don't forget all the other Elecraft Nets.. whether it is CW, SSB
Come Join the Fun

beating up the code to make sure the improvements do not have adverse
affects or hidden flaws before they resume shipping. I believe there will
be a note, to all, in a week or so, giving a more detailed explanation.

later when I was told that my K4 was on a bench getting final upgrades and
the thought that it should be out the week AFTER Thanksgiving.. Then next
morning I woke up to 80

As we have no ideas on what the upswing of cases has done to the crew,
county rules, and all the other crap (opps) that has been thrown at
Elecraft. And then there is recovery from the fire and suppliers.
