Should be no difference between K3 or K3S. The later model K3/0 minis have "K3S" on the front panel. See http://www.remoterig.com/downloads/RemoteRig_RRC1258-MkII_Users_manual-A40.pdf p 213 for setup for "Twin K3". 73 John N5CQ -Original Message- From:

2020-06-08 Thread John Langdon
The shrimp boats often used a 108" stainless steel CB whip on a spring, and a large copper plate on the outside of the hull under water. They got out very well on 11M. With modern rigs and built in tuners, you could probably do well on 10, 12, 15 and 17 M too. 73 John N5CQ -Original

If it also happens with a dummy load, and the antenna analyzers shows the same graph as before for R, X, then it is likely one of the connectors between the KPA1500 output and the antenna. The one such problem I had was old jumper I had put in to add an SWR bridge/monitor. It looked okay, and

Courtney, The 12V RCA plug on the rear of the K3 accomplishes this just fine with the KPA1500, so I think you should be able to do the same thing. Current demand is very small. I am not using it to power anything else. 73 John N5CQ -Original Message- From:

I think you mean the KPA500 is coming on with the K3 but the KPA1500 is not. You can run an RCA phono patch cable from the 12V out on the K3 to the REM jack on the KPA1500 and it will turn on when the K3 does. 73 John N5CQ -Original Message- From: elecraft-boun...@mailman.qth.net
