I like the 7405a EMC SA to 26.5 GHz. We have a compact 3m. I've added cones
and tiles to make a semi FAC. While the NSA is just about in, it is somewhat
different than the OATS we have. How do you do a NSA without the 4m scan?
Think out of the box!
It is still not valid, but for engineer

Cc Hi Jim,
I'm still using my 8566 SA's. As yet they still do everything I need. I had the
collie conversion done, very nice too.
Hi Jim,
First. Get the conflict of interest warning out of the way...
Second. Almost everything you need answers to are one of the reasons we set up
EMC LAB Services. Suggest you contact Wally Pilat there.

Good luck Jim… We moved one two years ago and that pain is still fresh in
my mind. The only advice I can offer on that is to label everything and take
plenty of notes/pictures.
While I won’t be moving a chamber anytime soon, we are trying to get
approval to replace the same, aging 856x
Hi everyone: We are about to move (groan) and while this generally is a pain,
it provides the opportunity to fix a few problems along the way. Our 3m SAC
is usable, and indeed gets fairly heavy use, but is not as good as I think it
could be, in a few ways:

I like that one. Some labs have a good projector for a remote display of the
receiver while troubleshooting and this would be a good secondary use. J

Okay,
So, I’ve seen some creative uses for Anechoic chambers. But, I don’t
recall ever seeing one in a cartoon. It doesn’t have a Valentine theme but I
thought you might like some humor targeting the EMC community.
The cartoon is titled, “PhD Required”

FCC WT Docket 10-4 caught my eye. Opened last year and submitted comments
were supposed to have ended on March 8, 2010.
It’s still open, comments are still being filed. What is the timeline?
When/how does the FCC provide feedback.

For the CISPR 16 1-6GHz radiated emissions site validation procedure, is there
a requirement that the site validation be performed (and pass) with each
antenna that we intend to use to make these measurements?
We have two of the same model horn. Do I need to make the validation
measurements
Yeah – and some time its reflective array disturbs the my midnight sleep also

Every morning, I endure severe disturbance to my sleep patterns due to
uncontrolled daylight emissions from an unlicensed 4*10^25 Watt transmitter.
I’d move to a cave, but then I’d have to endure fungal and bat-shriek immunity
issues. Sadly, I don’t anticipate any regulatory relief.
