is set by the Comma and Period keys. The comma key slows the
jog rate and period keys inreases it. Jog rate applies in both continuos
and incremental modes. The help button in the top right of the screen
has all the keystrokes to run it without the mouse. Ed

Try putting the G41d4 on a line by itself ahead of a G1 or G0. Ed

center with the indicator point near the chuck and then check it near
the end, if you have any difference then the axis of your part is not
parallel or concentric with the center line of the spindle. In the end
the best is to find room for a flexible coupling. Ed
before you crimp on the fitting it would give you a solid layer of wire
braid and two fittings of your choice to run the wires through. Ed.

Looks like a few extra tables will be needed this year!! Last year it
was a squeese when I setup my little Gecko and servo board. Ed

I purchased a tool setting guage that has an indicator in it. When the
tool presses down on a plunger and the indicator reads zero the tool is
exactly 2 above the surface, I use it to measure tool lengths and to
set Z zero for that part using touch-off. Ed

I use a regular magnetic base and a electronic dial indicator. Due to
the use of the timing belts and no screws, there is no backlash. No
hesitation whatsoever and all correlates
guys.

I ran a 700 on a two axis setup with 8.04 and EMC2.3.4 and it took
forever it seemed to bring up Gedit and screen updates were very slow.
Faster hardware is cheap now. 2 Ghz will run step/direction servos fine.

30 as is most pre heat treated 4140 stock sometimes called 4140HT.
Durralloy(SP) is one trade name for that type of material. Bolts are
easier to find though.
