If Linuxcnc had a CANopen gateway with a TCP/IP interface according to CiA 309 then it would be possible to connect to this port and to send and receive messages. If you have a CANopen relay module with ID 7 it probably need to be configured during comminishing and at this point the gateway would

Andy, That is what I'm making too. A rotating ball nut. I looked at all the ways there are to lift the head of a Siege X2 mini mill and I think the question comes down to the location of the screw. I think I will use the space occupied by the factory installed column mounted rack. The screw
