Sorry, but I think this is bad advice. NEMA 6-50 is not the most common plug. The NEMA 14-50 (RV plug) is by far the most useful plug, found in every camping and RV spot, it is used for stove or other appliance connection in newer homes (old homes had 10-50 or 10-30 for stove and dryer
