Maybe Doug got complaints from bliss-ninny lurkers ... Nah ... Doug is a puritanical prude. His rage was incited by WaffleEaters usage of the phrase "large spume of Muslim spermatozoa " and my usage of the phrase "Musselman ejactula". Such is the reality of Fairfield prigs. After all, he was probably canvasing Bevan to know what to speech permit and what to speech to excise.

yeah, that dynamic can go either way, positive or negative. There was no disrespect intended to the group that I saw, though I can see how it could feel that way. It can be a fine line between a sharp discussion and a shit slinging contest. It was appropriate to intervene as a moderator, to cool the momentum, but this looked nothing like the old days. Both posters have a lot to contribute, and glad to have them here. ---In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com,wrote : It was interesting, Ollie to see how fast it back-slid once it got going. Sent it twice I see. Run out of things to say or are you just being coy and subtle? An empty page - how artistically obtuse. I'll fill in the blank: "I, emptypants, apologize to everyone here at FFL for being, frankly, a dick. I don't know what compels me to write and think what I do. Maybe I'm the bhogi after all. I will consider this and undertake some deep introspection - questioning my motivation, my reasons for what I do and say. Please forgive me for spreading hate and lies via the internet. I am sorry for perpetuating inflammatory and propagandist dreck and I will attempt to stick to the facts as a way to encourage my fellow humans to remain open and loving." You're welcome.
