Michelle, Hi, yes
Ginger was treated by a dental specialist. To my knowldge she does not have
stomatitis, just a bunch of really bad teeth. One of them was so loose the vet
was able to wiggle it with her fingers.

Oh poor Ginger! 10 teeth all at once. Are they keeping her dopey on
pain meds? Wasn't Belinda just saying how one of her positives had most
of her teeth removed, recovered and has been doing fine ever since?
Come on Ginger, stay strong baby.

Yes bailey also tested positive for bartonella and was on antibiotics
(zithromiacyn I think is the preferred one if they are positive for
bartonella), accupunture, different chinese herbs none of these things
completely resolved his mouth issues, only pulling his teeth completely
cleared it
Thank you! I put it on my list to ask the internist tomorrow!

Michelle,
Do you have any animal toothpaste in the house? That must have some
antibacterial agents in it of some sort. If it tastes good, I'd think
about diluting it and using a Qtip to clean her teeth instead of
stressing her further with something that might work better, (thank you

Dear Michelle,
Having just lost my Mikey, my heart goes out to you.
My vet mentioned that one of the things that can happen with our positive
children is that small tumors can form in the esophagus, making it impossible
for the cat to eat.
Has your vet looked into this possibility?

I was wondering that myself, not because I ever heard of it but because that
sort of seems like where the problem is. She is scheduled for an ultrasound on
Monday at 2 and I assume they can check that way. Nothing showed up in the
full-body x-ray but I don't think that included her throat area.

When your Ginger does not eat, does she lick her lips when you show her

Do you use the little homeopathic pellets of Pulsatilla and Sulphur, and
if so do you pill her with them or do something else?
