I;m very sorry Suzie didn't make it, I wish she could have had

You don't think your vet would do it as a courtesy to find out what
is going on. If it isn't FIP there is the possibility of maybe being
able to treat the others that are coming down with unknown aliments. If
it is FIP then you know for sure you have done all that is possible.

You mean corona positive (as are most cats at some point in their lives).
There is no FIP test and the only way to be certain a cat had FIP is to do a
necropsy.

He did a titer test. I know the only way to be certain a cat has FIP is to
do a necropsy (although I do trust his diagnosis). Titer tests without
symptoms (inappetence, depression, and weight loss) don't mean much, and he
generally doesn't do them. In the presence of symptoms with a test
beside Suzie staying
over night? I am just shocked ---you did not actually she her in coma
though, right?

This still doesn't mean a cat has FIP, if nothing else fits most vets
will assume it is FIP but the absolute ONLY way to 100% confirm it is
FIP is with a necropsy.
I'm sorry I have to keep harping on this but with all the misinformation
out there about FIP (same as with FeLV) still today and
thanks, belinda.
i get tired, sometimes, of responding to every bit of misinformation, and
