wonderful thing, to give him a life of love and companionship. To you, it was

May you find peace in your memories of him.

Flavia was down to between 6-7.5 on June 22/05 when she had her transfusion.
The transfusion raised her PCV to 21 but it gradually dropped again over the
next 2 weeks and she was euthanized when it reached 10 on July 6.
The 2 weeks at least gave breathing space to try other measures.

We had a 6 month old kitten that DIED following his neuter, due to
Ivermectin poisoning. They routinely use the Ivermec at the S/N clinics for
twofold purposes. One, deworm. And, two, ear mites.
After this happened, I REFUSE to have Ivermectin used on any of my

Hi, I am forwarding this information as we have talked bout Ivermectin
for ear mite medicine - apparently it can be very very dangerous for

Dear my friend Bailey and Belinda,
Hi, Belinda, I just read your posting –
I am so very sorry to hear about Bailey – I am crying so very hard
reading to find out what happened. And I am crying also because I know how
difficult for you not to be able to hold Bailey.
But as you mentioned

In humans regular vitamin C can help to boost the immune system (this is why it is often taken at the first sign of a cold, etc. because the virus often lasts a shorter time and is less severe). Again, not sure how well this transfers to cats, but as long as it is not harmful to the cat, I would s

I don't agree with your vet. Even though I do not
personally use vitamin C with my kitties, I have read
a lot of good information on it's use. Also, I don't
think it can hurt. Dosage information would be
important to know to make sure it's given correctly,
but I know in humans you cannot over-do
PS. I personally have not noticed any difference using interferon,
so I guess every cat is different, what works for one, may not
necessarily work for all.

Since I'm new to this list, I may be jumping in to something that's already been discussed, but I like World's Best Cat Litter. It's made from corn, I think. No pine, no clay, and no perfumes. It does a good job on the odor, too. (Of course, I do scoop every day so it doesn't get to be too muc
