My vet starts FeLV cats on interferon alpha whether or not they're
showing any symptoms. Ember has been on it ever since she tested
positive. I know there are others here who also have asymptomatic
FeLV cats on interferon alpha.I think it's a good "can't hurt/might

test you're referring to is a combo FIV/FELV ELISA pop test (and it's generally
considered unreliable due to the large number of false positives and false

I personally would vaccinate everyone (even my fiv's) for felv. Wait and give them all the booster, and then mix. If your cats have already been vaccinated and boostered, of course this doesn't need to be done and I would mix now. 12 weeks is too young to know if this cat is truly positive.
