blessings to all of you; sorry i just read this tonight. i think it's
wonderful that minstrel has the chance to say goodbye, and that you have the
gentle memory of seeing her at peace, to remember her as she was for far
more of her life than the weeks near the end.

she'll still paw your face and reach out for kisses, maybe not quite so
blatantly now.

Oh Michelle, I am so sorry and so sad. Buddy wanted to stay here. For you. It 
was just too much for her. Minstrel will grieve her loss, too. May you comfort 
each other. Thanks for your thoughts about Buddy collecting her angel wings. 
Beautiful. I have not let me kitties see their friends when they passed. The 
vet came here on a Sunday to help Teddy cross. Because we wanted a necropsy (to 
make sure his mystery illness was not contagious), his body left with the vet. 
Keisha died at the ER. We held her for hours and cried but I didn't think to 
bring her body back home. In the future I will consider this for my kitties.
