Different drugs have different absorbtion rates. We could not do
transdermal prozac wth Peepers because we could not tailor the dose
reliabily when given through the skin. If your vet prescribed a certain

was the foaming during or immediately after pilling? gelcaps and a pill gun
could fix that - I don't know about the other forms ssri's come in (fluoxetine
is an ssri) e.g. pill, capsule, injection etc

Baytril can be given as an injection, it is an inter-muscular
injection thought, not sure on the clavomox, it does come in liquid
though if that is easier.

I used flouxetine with Cody for about 6 months, we never had that
problem. I sounds like it probably tastes awful and he is foaming when
he gets a taste of it. Have her put it in a pill pocket or gel capsule
and I think that would solve it. It worked very well with Cody also.

commonly used of the drugs (amytriptaline), we tried 2 or 3 before
trying the prozac, they all helped but only the prozac stopped it
completely.
