It is also possible to give your cats a cold. Again, it depends on what
organism is causing the upper respiratory problem. There are 100s out there
and some can be passed between species and others cannot.

Hi Terrie
It's my understanding that colds are not transmitted
between cats and dogs.
When I first got MeMe she had a terrible upper respiratory and was
sneezing
constantly. My dogs shared a water bowl and sometimes a bed with her and
they were fine.
Hope all is well with your kitties.
Best

Alright, I am not an expert, but here's what I have know/have learned: I think
it depends on the cause of the URI-- which with cats, we know it can be many
different things and usually, it's too expensive to actually run a culture and
find out what is causing the URI (unless it's a chronically

Hi Kenzie,
The general opinion around here is that there is better quality canned
food, though you also don't want to buy them food they won't eat. In
other
words, eating low quality food is better than not eating at all. I'm
feeding Wellness
canned and dry to my little FeLV+ girl, and she loves i

Hi-
I was wondering what kind of diet everyone uses for their FELV positive cats
and kittens. I am currently feeding mine Science Diet Kitten Chow and also
Friskies canned in a.m. and pm. These ladies have their habits. I have tried
switching their dry food and they began vomiting and quit ea
Upper Respiratory Infection (which is a cold for cats) is very infectious.

Wendy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Julie had to have been a

if you hear from some
Wendy,
I'm so sorry that Julie has gone, and that you are heartbroken as a
result of her departure, but she will always be with you. She
obviously had a great life. You'll be in my prayers.
