Hi all:
How many versions of chorale Lobe den Herren exist?
I've seen the Bach settings online, but when I do a search on Google
for a history
on the melody and look at the lyrics, there seem to be several versions?
I know Christoph Graupner composed at least two cantatas with the

That's not quite true, Darcy. I have a folder of files (about 500 or so) from
varying versions of finale and they all show up.
It does take Quick Look some time to index everything. If you want to see if QL
is working, select a file in the Finder, and hit the spacebar. See if it shows

Hey Allen,
Ooh, you're right! I just had to be more patient. But once the
indexing is done, all Finale files, regardless of version, do actually
show up in QuickLook, provided the OS knows they are Finale files.

I finally got QuickLook to work on my system by going to
Library/QuickLook/Finale.qlgenerator and double-clicking on the file.
I guess Finale.qlgenerator just wasn't loading properly for some
reason.

You can also restart the Finder, or go to Terminal and type qlmanage -r to
reset the QL service.

Telemann, in his Fast allgemeines Evengelisch-Musikalisches Lieder-
Buch (Hamburg 1730) lists just the one well-known melody (Stralsund

Hi all,
Just installed Leopard, and Finale will not open. It crashes on
opening. Relaunch does nothing different. There was one widow that
offered reset and relaunch (don't know how I got that to come up,
but that did nothing either.
Help please!

Tell us a bit more about your system and what you've done so far.
I'm interested to know if you're using a PCI audio interface.

Hi Dick,
Mac G5 Dual 2.0 Ram-o-Plenty GPO JABB (Kontakt 2 Player) no Audio
interface.
Just re-installed the 2008a update to no avail. (Beginning to
generate a real dislike for that guy Noah Vail.)
Getting late here - maybe I'll call MM in the AM. This is a drag.

Have you tried trashing the preferences? That sometimes (for whatever
reason) works.
Otherwise, you could reinstall 2008, then the 2008a update...but
that would be a drag...
