I actually received the same error before I updated to 10.2.8. I'm
not sure about the actual disk space, but it was over 1 GB. However, I
ignored the error (just like every other fink-update-related error I've
gotten since I started trying to update to 0.14), since nothing
actually happened

Chad,
I have an updated patch file for the libquicktime package. I haven't
performed much (read: any) testing to see that all works ok. I just
needed it to build so I could build mjpegtools which it turns out I'm
not using anyway. But it builds.
If you want the patch file, email me off-list.
I'm trying to use mplayer to display some avis in fullscreen mode. Here
is what happens:
If I try to start with the -fs switch, I get the following output:
VO: [sdl] 512x384 = 512x384 Planar YV12 [fs]
SDL: Info - please use -vm or -zoom to switch to best resolution.
set_fullmode:
I tried twice to install unrtf, but it fails to compile. I've got
the latest fink and developer tools. I haven't manually selected a
gcc version, so fink is using whichever one it wants.

Hello,
Thanks for the feedback on previous problem (Alexander and Dave's
solution worked on the CVS prob by simply installing the fink cvs pkg).
The background problem that led me to want to update in the first place
is still there with gnumeric. The problem only started after I upgraded
to
You need dlcompat-shlibs. I'm not sure how you were able to install
everything you did without dlcompat-shlibs being installed, since a lot of
packages depend on it.

hi all,
Is there a problem with pdfslide installation from fink?
Issuing fink install pdfslide fails.
I am using Package manager version: 0.13.7 and Distribution version:
0.5.3.cvs
I have a preexisting latex installation (from fink: TeX (Web2C 7.4.5)
3.14159 ).
The log states No compile
Hi,
I would like to install pymol in the 10.2_gcc3.3 tree, but some of the
packages it depends on are not yet available, numeric-py22 and
pmw-py22. Woudl it be possible to move these to the new tree?
thanks,
- Koen.

That's the infamous HEAD vs head problem on HFS filesystems--there's a Perl

Ah.. but I clicked on the link http://perso.wanadoo.fr/costabel/head
and copied it to /usr/bin/head (after renaming the preexisting copy
to head-fromperl) but so far it didn't ameliorate things. In fact,
the 2 heads look identical...
Am I missing another head..? ( how punning, ouch!)
Oops. You did have the right one there (now you have a spare!). However,
the error message does look the same. It must be somewhere else in your
PATH. What does which head give you?
