After solving the qt3 and qca problems I end up with the following
failures in building KDE 3.3.1:
kdepim3
/bin/mv /sw/src/root-kdepim3-3.3.1-21/sw/share/servicetypes/calendar*
/sw/src/root-kdepim3-common-3.3.1-21/sw/share/servicetypes/
mv: rename
compiling hdf5-1.6.3-1 failed with:
ibs -lhdf5 -lsz -lz -lm
ld: warning prebinding disabled because dependent library: /sw/lib/libhdf5.0.dylib is
not prebound
ld: Undefined symbols:

Martin,
Thanks for the infos. I am glad to report that hdf5, qt3 and qca just
installed fine. I am trying now to tackle KDE 3.3!
Cheers

Did you happen to force-overwrite the libltdl files during the update
of ImageMagick? If you did, then try reinstalling libtool14-shlibs.
No I didn't, but I removed gnucash*, then libtool14* and installed
imageMagick-5. Then I installed imageMagicg-6, then gnucash*.
In any case I rebuild
This is fixed in 6.0.7-6.
Yes it is:

Thanks

1.8.9-14) since they compete to own `/sw/lib/libltdl.3.1.0.dylib'.
