I just upgraded to Yosemite last night and noted the following when making sure
fink worked:
(1) Just before upgrading - I got a message in AppStore indicating that the
Xcode tools had been updated automatically with the SDK for Yosemite,
Mavericks, and iOS 8.1. I thought that was a good sign

Get a copy of the linkchecker INFO file in your added
/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo directory and update it. Then invoke
debian's package is tagged for the conflict and commented that the
python-dns included with linkchecker one is patched (or customized, or
*something* non-upstream-released). Probably that means it does need to
use its own rather than scrapping it and relying on the externally
packaged one, and
