Hopefully the 4th time is a charm. This is one more attempt to avoid the

An additional question. The specs show a 0.5PPM TCXO with external 10MHz
oscillator optional.
Is there any chance that the TCXO actually a VCTCXO (Voltage Controlled
TCXO)? If so, then it will be relatively easy to lock the internal TCXO
to an external standard (like with something similar to the
Dan -- you might also want to add that, at the AMSAT booth, we will be
doing an on-the-air demo of one or two of the software defined
transponders (SDX). This should include the Suitsat prototype SDX,
a.k.a. "Odyssey" in the HPSDR group (see

I asked N4HY offline for a confirmation on power supplies. What I
learned is that the base SDR-5000 requires an external 13.8VDC supply
capable of enough amps to run a 100W PA -- presumably in the 25A range.
The SDR-5000C is includes a mortal, commodity PC power supply to operate
the embedded Wind
