Finally got round to upgrading to PowerSDR v2.3.5 and noticed in the
SETUPDSP that I've lost the ability to adjust my tx buffers in cw. Both
tx and rx buffers are present for phone and digital modes however (as
per before). Is this as intended or has something gone amiss in the
upgrade?

Thanks Brian. This makes sense. Essentially 2.3.5 minimizes tx latency
automatically as opposed to giving the op the option of selecting a very
small tx buffer manually (I typically ran mine at 128) in the
provisioning setup.
Thanks es 73.

Not sure I can even describe this issue properly but I've got my Flex 1500
running fine with Writelog controlling the SDR and VAC running the CW reader.
But when I fire up Writelog's CW keyer it keys the SDR but doesn't create a dot
or dash. Similarly I had problems getting MMTTY to send

would key the SDR but the tones were indecipherable.
Sounds like a sound card issue expect the VAC seems

Bill, others are going to give you far more erudite answers but my
impression after fiddling with lots of various 3rd party software add-ons
is that CAT control is just temperamental and a bit flakey. I don't know
whether this is coming from the radio or from the software or from some
evil

Thanks to all for the help, both on and offline. No joy yet in my shack.
I've tried countless combinations with no luck.
I am also a fiddler, a fairly stubborn one, and bear the scars from a
life of banging my head against the wall, especially on PC

Bill -
CWskimmer shows the call signs across a wide bandwidth. Try running
Fldigi in CW mode, and narrow the receiver bandwidth to hear a single clear
signal. Much simpler than trying to select what is happening.
