Regarding the pull up issue, it seems fixed (partially) now.
My first assumption regarding atmosphere was definitely wrong (even though the
JSBSsim atmosphere feels better now and the FG atmosphere is still wrong above
60kft).
I have looked into the Cmalpha values and it was only fixed to a
for density in the upper atmosphere ?

shortly ago. Don't use the external_forces section for rocket control. I've

I have resumed work on the X-15.
I want to model every single thing (from the last bottle of hydrogen peroxide
to the historical launch sites) for three aircraft configuration :
X15 #1 : Old style flight deck, old style SAS and RAS (later standing for
Reaction Augmentation System).
X-15 #2 :
New version uploaded to CVS.

I am working to have the plib version complete. Once I am done I will work on

feedback is very welcome as usual :)

lower-end systems without causing problems on faster machines.

This is a call for help adding substance to a few 3D models I have made,

Hi everybody,
I thought it might be nice to upload the current 3D model of the X-15 to the

That would allow people play around with the model in its very early alpha

I am building what I hope will be a very hi-fi model of the Su-26 unlimited
aerobatic aircraft. The exterior model is finished and now I am working on the
textures and the 3D cockpit. For the latter, I only have photos found on
airliners.net for the front panel, and I need views of the canopy,
3D model is now finished (well mostly since I intend to add the refuelling
probe and boarding ladder)
Now to the textures and animation (alas the latter is going to be tough
particularly for the gear !)
have a look at avsim forum for latest renders and ingame shots
