Re: Problem printing using FOP
Hello, Success! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I tried lots of different choices in the printer configuration, trying to get it to default to Tray 4 which is where the Letter paper is stored. Then I noticed that Tray 4 wasn't an option. Turns out the images on the desktops we use do not come with the printers configured properly. Once I configured the printer driver to see Tray 4 AND specified that Tray 4 held LETTER paper it started printing properly. Odd that I had to do this for this program, my other Java printing programs printed fine. At least it's working and I can stop pulling out my hair :) Thanks again for all your help, Craig Malton Oleg Tkachenko <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> on 06/13/2002 11:03:37 AM Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To:[EMAIL PROTECTED] cc: Subject:Re: Problem printing using FOP [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Thanks for the response Jeremias. Re: Problem printing using FOP
Thanks for the response Jeremias. I tried doing that without success :( I've also tried this to 3 printers (unfortunately they are all the same kind of printer) from a few different desktops and they all do the same thing. Strange thing is that it prints fine on A4 paper, just won't print from the right tray. if I do the printing without using the FOP it prints correctly. Anyone have any other suggestions? No one else has ever run into a problem like this before? Problem printing using FOP
Hello, I have a problem I can't figure out, hoping someone has done this before. I have a FOP program to do some printing from a Java. I created a Java Swing Applet that uses FOP to do the printing. I am using code out of FOP 0.20.3 distribution that is in org.apache.fop.apps. I used the same code in PrintStarter to do the printing. The printing works fine (the page looks as I would expect) but the really weird thing is that the output from the print is going to the manual feed on my printer instead of to the normal output bin. What this means is each time I print I have to walk over to the printer and manually feed in the pages to be printed...obviously not a good solution :) The same problem occurs when I use the fop.bat program to do the printing instead of my program. Has anyone encountered anything like this before? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
