Diane, on the reference page of the document, you should find a small, otherwise empty frame named TableFootnote (spacing and capitalization is critical). If it does not exist, create one using the frame' drawing tool. You can adjust the height or width of this frame, use it to hold an image

Actually, I disagee, if the TW is a full partner participant - stakeholder, or more likely the department manager in the scenario you are discussing, they should also participate early on to get the sense of the uncertainty and what those issues are, at the very least these issues are going to

You really hit the nail on the head. Meetings are brain-sapping enough when important information is actually being conveyed, but most people who are on the CC: list for meetings are being given a free hourlong zone-out. Keep the poor TWs out of the unnecessary meetings, or they'll become office

Jacob, I'm not using pdf server. What happens is that I can PDF file on my local drive and it comes out ok. When I try to PDF it into network folder it messes up. I'm not spooling the file onto PDF server - it's a local process but the output goes into network folder (or doesn't in this case).

I cannot generate a PDF from a FrameMaker 8.0 book, although I can PDF the individual files with or without bookmarks. I am using Windows Vista, Adobe Acrobat 8.0, Distiller 8.0, and I set the printer to Adobe PDF before saving as PDF. The distiller tries the first file in the book, then chokes.
