Hi Stefan, I used this feature intensively back in the 90s, with FM 5.6/6 if I recall correctly. Back then, I was working for Nortel Networks producing 9000+ pages libraries. As we were developing a new release, we were also supporting up to four previous releases (for corrections and bug

Typically files won't be accessible to the person who's reading a PDF, so you'll get a nice clickable image that gives a "file not found" error. You could bundle the file with the PDF in a .zip archive. On Tue, Apr 25, 2017 at 12:54 PM, Stefan Gentz wrote: > Ho Robert, > >

Ho Robert, nothing special. PDF does not support embedded files within page content. Basically it's similar to Word (Packager Shell Object). So, in PDF you will likely just see nothing or a tiny small file name, maybe an icon (not sure). What you can do in FM, which might be quite nice of you

Good question, Stephan. Thanks. There is lots of good info in these replies. I think Grant makes the key point: point pages are vestiges of printed documentation. They are based on retaining a historical record as documentation goes through revisions. IMO, the idea is like sci-fi time travel,
