Definitely too little RAM is the likely culprit (processor speed may matter too
- how old is your computer?)
Depending on the graphics card you have in your system, some of that 1GB RAM is
also being used-for/overlapped-with the graphics card and reducing the

We mostly use "wireless" and "wireline" to distinguish the two (my company is
in the wireless data business for cellular).
On fewer occasions, simply "landline" and "POTS".

I think (but not sure) you are seeing that "Font Cache" XP Pro problem that is
resolved with a particular Microsoft hotfix. The specific hotfix number has
been posted to this news list before - maybe you can search the archives for it.

Yes ... agreed! Many hardware mftr's never implemented 64-bit drivers for XP
Pro 64, because that OS was not a big seller ... at the time, most of the Intel
and AMD processors on the market were 32-bit anyway.
