I don't think you can affect the paper color. You can, however, create a rectangle or graphic frame the same size as the sheet and apply any color you want to it. Which should give the same effect. This frame would be on the master page and be a new layer, under your text containers. Art On

Hi Joliet, To achieve what you desire, here is the trick. Go to the Master Page and Add a rectangle of the size of your page with the desired colour and align it behind any text blocks. Now return back to the Body Pages, and VOILA there you are with the background colour for your FM document.

What's your intent in changing the paper color? If you just want something other than white on your screen, you can modify the Windows Desktop settings to make the paper color be anything you like. Personally, I have mine set to be off-white. This helps me spot text boxes that I need to replace

Actually, neither my first reply nor anyone else's was 100% complete. If you want to do paper color, you need to start with the background rectangle to color the margins. Then you also need to select and fill the text containers with the same color. Otherwise you end up with a picture frame
