Many thanks to all who replied on and off-list. My first line of
attack is to try Dieter's idea and get the fonts we already have
working more fully for us.

TOC behaviour for context sensitive help has also been resolved. Parts
of my project had been created in an earler RH version. For a project
built competely in RH 7.0.1, the TOC selection is updated to match the
invoked topic.

You did not mention which platform you are working with (Mac or Windows).
You also did not mention which version of FrameMaker.
What I do is look at the font that the document uses. If it does not contain
the required language characters I have fonts that I use. If it is Windows

Hi,
Does anyone on the list know where I could get a syntax highlighting
addition for Maker Interchange Format for the EditPad editor? Seems
not to come up on Googling, but some people on the list seem very
happy with EditPad.
Thanks,

Hello Art,
Can you clarify "reliable"? Prone to corruption, crashing, etc? After years of
using FrameMaker's internal drawing tool, we're going to adopt an external
diagramming tool. To keep the usability the same, we were going to use OLE.
I've seen the file size grow quite a bit (172k .fm7 fi
How do you import them into FrameMaker? Do you link or what!

3) Find: Character Format: As Is everywhere except Change Bars. Even
automatic change bars can be found this way.

Hi Milan,
We're creating manuals in Turkish, or rather our localization vendor is
doing it for us. Our manuals use Myriad Pro and Myriad Pro Condensed,
both of which are OpenType fonts and have the necessary glyphs for

a file into framemaker on the PC? On the MAC I see a window pop up
when there is a problem importing a file, but on the PC I do not. I'm
trying to trouble shoot a file a client has forwarded me and would
like to see if I
