I'm almost embarassed to ask a question about FrameMaker 6 - but I hope
you can cast your minds back and offer some help
I have a book file with approx 10 files and numerous cross-references
between them.
All appears OK in Frame, but when I convert to a single PDF, some of

Also try turning on Create Named Destinations for All Paragraphs, on the
Links tab. That will initially bloat your pdf file, but you can
optimize in Acrobat to remove unused named destinations.

I'm assuming that in the FM Print dialog box, you have Generate Acrobat Data
ON (or none of the links would work). But check it.
And in your PDF properties, try turning Tagged PDF to ON.
Also, if you're using the PDF printer to generate the PS file, there's no

Regarding StructureSnippets .. you can manually edit the "snippet" files
to unwrap the root element to leave just the plain text. This may help
in the short term, and I'll look into updating the plugin to accommodate
plain text (CDATA) nodes as a standard feature.

possibilities of making the computer work for you (instead of "waiting" for
you), you might want to have a look at using the FrameMaker API via a scripting
environment. It is 12 years since the first version of Fram

Documents widget; hover the mouse pointer over it to see the tool tip.

got is, "Always expand docs to full screen -- use the tabbed interface."
This is reasonable if you want your doc windows to always be fully expanded. I
