If you can't buy Mif2Go (which does a very good job of converting to
RTF, as I just discovered), you could try saving as HTML and then
importing the HTML to Word.

Frank,
If you're stuck having to do it with the existing tools, the only way I
have found of doing it consistently is to remove all graphics from the
Frame docs and export to RTF. You then open the RTF docs in Word, clean
up the formatting and re-import all your graphics.
Yes, it's a PITA.

Hi Frank,
I wouldn't retype no matter what. Here is what I would try:
* Save as RTF from FrameMaker. Open RTF in Word.
* Save as text from FrameMaker. Open text in Word and reformat.
* Use clipboard to copy/paste from FrameMaker to Word.

Besides all of the good advice that you will have gotten about how to
deal with the documents, have you considered looking at the job
listings at Monster and similar sites? There must be other places to
work besides the Kite Factory.

No, not
Both DLLs were in the listed directory, I've deleted them and
restarted FrameMaker. The Mif2Go commands are gone.
Before I deleted the DLLs, I did a SHIFT+click in the document that

Thanks for your help.

I agree with those who suggest saving as RTF - however, when I've done
this (with FrameMaker 7.0 and 7.2), I've had the best results saving as
RTF Japanese.
