Hi Framers,
when you import an EPS file into Frame, you get to see a low-res preview. Is
there a way or a plug-in to "optimize" this preview or to get a high-res
preview?
Cheers

Hi Framers
There are several ways to save your FrameMaker files to HTML:
- Set up the HTML reference pages and save as HTML
- Use MIF2Go or a HAT like RoboHelp or WebWorks ePublisher
Is there anyone who has done similar conversions from InDesign files?
Kind regards

No there is not. The preview is a low-resolution image. The only way to
make it look better would be if FrameMaker would in fact actually process
the PostScript inside the EPS file (something that InDesign does). This is
not likely to be added to FrameMaker. Note that when you import PDF, it in

It's been a while, but I believe you can use GhostScript to remove a
preview from an EPS and insert another one of your choice (using a TIF

Hi Mathieu,
The trick to migrating a word doc to structured Frame is to build the
structure of the FrameMaker document as you go.
For example, you might insert a Section element, followed by a nested
Heading element. You would then copy and paste the heading from the

As Dov and Jim mentioned, the preview is created by the graphic
application. Corel Designer, for example, lets us choose 4 bit, 8 bit,
black and white, color, grayscale, and many other options for the
preview.
